Just a quick post about a great meal.

Myself and four friends visiting Frederick from NYC for a weekend wedding had an excellent meal at the Tasting Room last Saturday evening. Though I didn't have time for an exhaustive search, this seemed to be the most ambitious and up-to-date restaurant in town. All of our food was uniformly excellent. Highlights include the obligatory Crab Cakes (large chunks of crab, not much filler), the Lobster Chowder, the Atlantic Boulliabase, and the Rock Fish. Yes, we were in the mood for seafood.
As walk-ins, we waited at the bar for a table, but had friendly service, and great drinks; and our table opened a half-hour earlier than promised. Also, praise to the forward looking decor.

And five New Yorkers were very happy to get apps, entrees, two bottles of wine, and a round of drinks, tax and tip for about $60 each. A bargain for us.
