Okay, so I live in a small town. When I peek in on the big city postings, I see folks chatting about tasting menus and wine pairings. I've never seen anything like that on a menu within a 80 mile radius of the little river town on the Upper Mississippi that I call home. So some details on how a tasting menu and/or wine pairing work.
Also, I'm working on creating a fund raising event and wonder if wine pairing with appetizers (there must be some neuvo, classy word for this course?) and desserts (this as well?) would be appealing. Any thoughts?
