I think it's 11-5, and as mentioned in past posts, it's much cheaper tastings than Taste of DC & Taste of Bethesda. It's centered between Viers Mill & Georgia, nr Price Ave.
Also, it's Greek church festival time! Started with the fest at St George's on Bradley Blvd this past weekend. This weekend is the church at 36th & Mass., near the Cathedral. Coming up: fests at the churches on upper 16th St., on Cipriano Rd in Greenbelt, and over in 7 Corners.
Forgot to post earlier than I checked out the fledgling Taste of Takoma a few weeks ago. It's only the 3rd annual, so not many vendors, but there were vegetarian choices (it being Takoma) & a really nice setting: the campus of Columbia Union College. Beats sitting on a dirty curb - there was lush green grass everywhere, a pretty fountain & shade too. Live music & even short tours of the college radio station.
