I think this was the old Bourbon Shrimp space a couple of doors east of Ago.
Four of us went for dinner last night and I'd give it a 6 out of 10 rating. To be fair, as it's only recently opened, it could improve.
Positives--there's a buzz, staff friendly and a probable celeb watching venue, prices in the high moderate category.
Negatives--among the hardest most uncomfortable chairs in town, small, not distinguished wine selection, no hard liquor license yet, food okay, not great, an unless you're sitting on the patio, noisy.
We had a selection and all four of us pretty much tasted everything we got. Fried calamari, mushroom riotto, pomme frite with garlic, pillard of chicken, blackened salmon salad, steak with red wine sauce and grilled shrimp, no dessert. Everything was 'okay' not outstanding. The menu BTW is sort of eclectic California cuisine with some odd things on it like chicken curry. It was about $35 a head not including wine and all of us agreed we wouldn't rush back.
