Having abandoned Downtown Chinatown some years back, We decided to give it a try.
We chose Taste of China Seafood Restaurant
Perhaps we were lucky
Our waiter was pleased to translate many of the daily specials, and make suggestions.
Our friend asked about a spicy chicken dish, and the waiter said " leave it to me"
We had an amazing Crispy Duck.
It was lightly glazed, yet crunchy
Everything we ordered was well prepared.
My husband asked for lots of garlic on the snow pea greens, and they came perfectly coated.
Our steamed fish was fleshy, and boned at the table.
Our guests did not eat shellfish, but the Lobster special looked yummy.
We realized that we had ordered nothing from the regular menu, a rarity in a Chinese restaurant for anyone who does not read Chinese.
It was an excellent dinner.
