A Benefit for PS 11, Chelseas Elementary School Treasure
What: Over twenty fine restaurants offer samples from their menus
Why: To benefit the children of PS11, a public elementary school
When: Friday May 21, from 6-9:30 pm (including silent and live auctions

The public may purchase tickets entitling them to six entrée and dessert samples, and two wine tastings or beverages from any of 20 exciting chefs. The event will include tastings from every chef in the Chelsea market, as well as chefs from some of the most exclusive restaurants in Manhattan. During the tasting there will be a silent auction, followed by a live auction officiated by Richard Brierley of Christies Auction House, featuring items like 5 nights in Aruba, VIP viewing passes to Macys Thanksgiving Parade, Broadway show tickets, spa and salon visits, wine and jewelry.

The event benefits public school PS11, a Chelsea treasure for elementary students located on West 21 Street. PS11 is one of the best schools in Manhattan, yet seventy percent of PS11s students fall below the poverty level and outside support is crucial to their success. Every penny raised will directly benefit these kids.
