It's a very nice affair and a good deal, esp. if you get tickets in advance ($25 vs. 35). That got you four small glasses of wine or beer plus all that food. Scallops were popular, had them at Rialto, Asgard and somewhere else. Chowder from Summer Shack, cured beef from Amelias, salted cod from Atasca, caramelized onion ravioli w/ alfredo sauce and tiramisu from the new Polcari's next door (seems like an odd location), mushroom marsala bruschetta from Centro, gazspacho from East Coast, shrimp cakes and linguica from Portugalia, tuna from Zephyr (I think), stuffed and roasted veggies from Marino's, choc. cupcakes from Upstairs, lemon curd from Finale, various ice creams from Toscanini's, choc. banana bread pudding from Bukowski's. Yikes, no wonder my stomach revolted. And that's not even eating the salmon from Legal, curried chicken salad sandwiches from Bukowski's and random stuff from the Middle East, Chez Henri, Picante, Good Life, Green St. Grill and who knows where else. The MC kept yapping and was a little annoying, but it feels more special than the Boston event.
