Had to sop by to confirm it was same chef (see thread below), and indeed it is. Chef Li and partner bought the place from Lucky Wah; new kitchen, separate from Lucky Wah (a good sign), nicer space than the old RG, beer and wine I believe, though I had takeout, and same dishes we all loved at Rice Garden. They're a bit tight on staff for full service, but I imagine they'll get it right. They even seem to be doing a good business in takeout and sit-down American Chinese food.
I had dry cooked lamb with cumin sauce, which I've been craving ever since RG closed, and it's as great as ever. Yay! Yummmm.
