Stopped in for lunch today. Cumin lamb, braised beef with cabbage, and szechuan wontons served over bean sprouts (not on the menu but chef offered to make them). Small dining room but much nicer than Rice Garden..staff was very helpful. There's a regular menu but it seemed like most of the better items were on the specials menu.
The 2 mains were excellent...the beef in more of a broth than Sichuan Garden's version. Nice touch with all the vegetables; cooked but with plenty of crunch...very clean, vivid flavors.
Noticed the pigs foot on the menu...warrants a return trip..soon. Also bought a bag 0f 50 frozen dumplings. I'll report back after I try them.
I'm a fan of Sichuan Garden but I think this place has the edge on them.
