Eons ago, or so it seems, I posted looking for an Italian biscuit that had once been put out by Stella d'Oro. I received some replies but none turned out to be exactly right. I found it fairly recently, made by Clemente Bakery in South Hackensack. It's called Tarallo and is supposedly a traditional Pugliese regional snack. I'd love to try my hand at making them. Has anyone had experience making these things?
"Googling" has been somewhat helpful, but I'd like to hear about a first hand experience, if possible.
