The above-mentioned place at Noe/18th is an unexpectedly good quality/ excellent value venue... esp. for the neighborhood. It is a branch of the one on Mission, and the "breakfast" offerings in particular offer good quality and huge portions for very good prices [ with the discount coupon that caused me to visit at 10:30 am this Sat. morning- amazingly good] Tacos and burritos are also good/good value although the meat choices don't include tongue, kid, or other, more esoteric inner Mission possibilities. Mediocre, watery guacamole [or is it a super-mild salsa verde?], chips, a pretty good gallo pinto, and hot peppers are available in unlimited quantities at a free bar at the back. This is not a place to drive across town for [or to come out of the Mission for], but it is definately a keeper if you live nearby or are in the area.
