A non Thanksgiving topic...
Ok, here's what i've got so far:
Gambas al ajillo
Empanada--spanish style, so baked, not fried and either chicken or tuna
Also: olives, spanish cheese assortment, bread/crackers, maybe marcona almonds too.
I figure I'll get some albarinos and a couple of ribera del dueros, make sangria, and also have a regular bar for those who'd prefer that...
So, what else would you suggest that doesn't have to be served hot (tho if it does, that'd be ok). The shrimp for sure should be, but other than that, it'll all be ok if i make it the day before and, in the case of the lamb, reheat.
I think I will make toasts w/bittersweet chocolate, olive oil, and salt. But beyond that, I can't think of what else is muy tipico.
