Mario, saw your post about tacos al pastor. There is a place called Mi Mexico that is on Armenia. Although I've passed by them recently, I don't see them in the phone book anymore so I can't give you the address. I'm sure they're there (they have a loyal Mex. following) but they must have dropped their phone book listing to save money. Hard to make money selling tacos, I'm sure.
To get there, take Armenia north. Mi Mexico is on the right (east) as you head north. Go north of Tampa Bay Blvd, and I think also north of MLK Blvd. but definitely south of Hillsborough Ave.
Also, try their barbacoa, if you've never had it. And there's a shrimp seviche-type dish served in a chalice that I've heard people rave about.
At Al Gustos, try their cactus salad and the chicken tortilla soup. I had a pork entree that was good -- sometimes their food is uneven in quality, hope you get something good. They're on Kennedy Blvd. west of S. Boulevard.
I've also noticed but have not gone to a taquieria on Hillsborough Blvd. just east of I-275 on the south side of the street. It looks interesting but I rarely get over that way. Maybe you can...
