Last night had dinner at Tamarindo in Oakland. The ambiance is great - the hostess so hospitable, the place just looks great. All of the staff were helpful and friendly. The food - well, really good. We shared one small plate, and, each ordered an entree. The camarones were fine, but, for $15 I really expected more than 4 baby shrimp and one scoop of rice. The bill came to $80 without dessert, one glass of wine, two glasses of sangria and one coffee. Next time I'll try lunch!!!
