Hey Hounds,
I was making the eggplant stuffed with ground lamb recipe from Jerusalem & came across this ingredient, tamarind paste. Not sure where to find it, they didn't have it at my local upscale grocer. Any suggestions? Whole Foods/TJs? Can I buy it on line? Worst case, can someone suggest a substitute. FWIW, I made the recipe without it and it came out fine, but I'd like to try it the way Ottolenghi intended it next time.
