I've been a fan of this farm since I moved to NYC two years ago. The meat tastes like that from the animals my family raised growing up. The chorico is hands-down my favorite and is a wonderful ingredient. Today: steamed mussels with chorico, shallots, garlic, tomatoes and grilled bread. Tomorrow: potato and chorico frittata. Mmmmm. The bacon is pretty rockin' too.
Normally Tamarack is at Union Square on Wednesdays and Fridays, IIRC.
I didn't notice the Tello's farm folks - did they depart the market? Or was I just late?
