eaten so many tamales and, they're all usually really good. random ladies selling them out of coolers or huge metal pots on roosevelt ave, a couple of very wet ones at the red hook ball fields, made a batch myself a few weeks ago and also many random carts, really from all over. but, I never usually get them in restaurants, taquerias or otherwise.
any tried-and-true, consistent favorites readily available? I like to get 2 or 3 at a time, esp. when they are the smaller $1 ones, and prefer the spicy ones (usually ends up being chicken w/ jalapeno) but would love to hear about other faves (apparently a lady stalks the line at DiFara's sometimes?). thanks in advance.
