Hey Puget Sound (and especially Eastside) chow funsters, I just learned that the guy who owned Takohachi is now cooking at the Bellevue Uwajimaya cafe. Didn't have a chance to try anything there yet, but thought I'd pass the information along for those of you who lamented Takohachi's closure last year. My understanding is that his famous torikara and curry dish will be on the menu, if not already. I don't know if his ramen will be available or not, but he is making his dashi. To repeat, only at the Bellevue store. I'll be interested in your impressions.
