The old thread doesn't allow the list of establishments to be created. Lately, I've been taking sandwiches from B Espresso Bar (in the Royal Conservatory), Sud Forno (new Yonge location), Forno Cultura, and Black Camel on the train, bus and sometimes plane. Brock Sandwich makes a good sandwich, and now there's Gold Standard Sandwich on Roncy. https://www.instagram.com/goldstandar...
Sometimes I'll buy a pita sandwich at Tabule , the night before a trip, and they'll pack the sauce on the side.
Schmaltz Appetizing is also great, and now has a 2nd location on Ossington.
On the Danforth, Masellli's supermarket makes sandwiches with any meats and cheeses from their deli, on your choice of bun. I don't remember other toppings or condiments being available, but I didn't ask.
There's also veal, chicken and/or eggplant sandwiches at San Francesco, California and Mustachio's. I get the mini size at California.
Knuckle Sandwich looks amazing.
Green Republic sandwiches are good, and some are available at Jimmy's Coffee.
Sanagan's Meat Locker and Blackbird Baking Co sell sandwiches ready to go.
If you like BlogTO and use Instagram, I've noticed you can find their sandwich posts on Instagram with #sandwichesTO .
Which other places should I try?
