has anyone been to the new takahachi? one of the chefs comes to my pottery studio (and makes most of the dishes/decorations for the restaurant) and i've been curious about going. i had been under the impression that he was leaving the east village takahachi for a more pricey restaurant in tribeca, but he told me the other day it was definitely called takahachi, so i checked menupages.com....there are two and the menus are the same. would love some feedback about quality, crowds, if they take reservations, etc....(i've never been to the original takahachi). thanks!
