Thanks for the suggestions re: Ping's on Friday. I decided to try Tai Hong Lau instead. (Thanks George!)
We started with a Corn, Shredded Chicken, and Egg White soup. The soup was excellent. There was actually no chicken in it but it was rather flavorful.
We had shrimp dumplings which were probably the best seafood dumplings I have ever had.
We then had Shrimp with Szechuan Sauce, Beef with Imperial Sauce, Crab with Ginger and Scallion, and Sauteed Mustard Greens. The beef was good but nothing special, but everything else was great. The shrimp was very fresh. The greens were perfectly cooked.
The star of the meal was definitely the crab dish!!!
I will definitely go back for this dish.
George, are the other restaurants in chinatown you suggested this good?
