I want to try the ATK shredded beef tacos but the recipe calls for 2 oz of dried ancho chiles stemmed seeded and torn into 1 inch pieces. They are mixed with the beer and seasonings the meat is slow cooked in until tender. Our house hold can't take too spicy (I know it's hard to measure.). But does anyone have ancho chile experience and tell me if this will be crazy hot or maybe suggest an alternative for great flavor and a little spicy. Thanks.
