I'm sure we agree that a proper Fish Taco is a gustatory wonder but sadly here in LaLa Land something of a rarity.

Happily someone in Victoria is putting forth the effort & organisation needed it's the floating fish store down on Fisherman's Wharf you need to check out certainly the Best Fish Tacos I've ever had north of the Rio Grande.

Twice in two days I shuffled down chowing not only on Cod Tacos but Oysters (Buck-a-Shuck and wonderful) and Salmon Chowder (well done not exciting but probably not the best choice given the weather).

Note that these Tacos are the 'single Tortilla' variety another rarity hereabouts.

And Yes downtown Victoria is as touristy as ever but parking is plentiful & cheap and options abound.

If you only know a little of Victoria this is the place next to Barb's.
