Tacos al Pastor - on a spit???

Hi folks. A few years ago, I did a crawl through all of manhattan looking for spit-roasted al pastor. I think the only (and I mean ONLY) place that did it on a spit was tulcinga on W 10, and theirs just wasn't that good.

Anyhow, I know for a fact, there are a number of places in the boroughs that have real spit-roasted al pastor. I live outside the city, but I've driven by a few in the past few months. unfortunately, I didn't write down addresses. Dumb. Anyhow, I'm hoping you can help me create a list of all the places you know of that sells great spit-roasted al pastor tacos.

I know there was a place on roosevelt ave, on a corner, that had a big spit with al pastor sitting out practically on the street. Maybe in the 90s, near Junction Blvd? Anyhow, I tried to find it again, but didn't see it. Anyone know of the place? If so, when do they do their al pastor?

Also, I think I read a while ago on this board about a great place in Astoria that sells al pastor. Any ideas?

Finally, I've walked through sunset park a number of times, but have never noticed al pastor on a spit (though, I have to admit, I wasn't specifically looking for it). Has anyone found any there? Or maybe weekends at the Red Hook fields?

Anyhow, I'm hoping we can collectively put together a good list. Oh, and extra points if they've got a pineapple roasting at the top of that spit.

Thanks in advance. I promise to try them all out and report back...
