Tacomiendo, the taco place on Inglewood in Culver City, has opened a second store. It is on Gateway, in a mini-mall right where Gateway hits Pico.
They have managed to admirably replicate the same exact lack of atmosphere that they have in Culver City! The menu is the same. Last night, their specials board included birria de chivo, caldo de res, caldo de pescado, among others. The store was totally deserted at 8:45 and although the menu says they officially close at 10, the staff was closing up at 9.
Maybe not the greatest taco place in the world (or even in LA), but a welcome addition to West LA, I think.
