Taco Mariscos, week two

Zoe | Apr 26, 200510:37 PM

The truck parked at Fraser and East Olympic overlooking the scenic yard of a car repair shop was again our choice for lunch. A line up like Zankou - after 2 pm and there were 10 people in line for the individually prepared dishes; I had a mouth melting shrimp cerviche tostado with a thin layer of fresh crab as a base, shaved avocado, buttery, great flavor and then a heap of truly freshly boiled shrimp arranged in a flowered pattern. Dressing was a white salsa with ch.peppers, onions, scallions, lime and something else that made me drink up all the juice. Partner had the house special - bar b que shrimp tacquitos with two dipping sauces, so greasy, so flavored, so everything. She had a tamarindo drink with that - sticky sweetness to cut the rich taste. Worked.

4300 block East OLympic, south side.
