‘Tis the season of baking! For this reason, we couldn’t resist having a bonus Table Talk Baking Edition with Magnus Nilsson of The Nordic Baking Book.

Magnus Nilsson, the internationally acclaimed Swedish chef and author of the bestselling The Nordic Cookbook (2015), has scoured the Nordic region researching, photographing, and collecting recipes for home cooks.

Nilsson is a leading authority on Nordic culinary culture and has been described by The New York Times as being “fanatical in his devotion to Nordic cuisine.” For the new book he traveled throughout Denmark, the Faroe Islands, Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden, collecting more than 450 recipes for buns, pastries, cookies, flatbreads, pancakes, porridges, and much more.
