I noticed a gold sticker on a cookbook I have that said it won a "Tasbasco Commuinty Cookbook Award." So, I looked up the awards site and read this blurb:
"First established by McIlhenny Company in 1989, the TABASCO® Community Cookbook Awards were created to recognize the best of the thousands of cookbooks published annually to generate funds for charitable causes while preserving America’s rich culinary history."
And there are some nice books there. The one from Monhegan Island, Maine looks very interesting. Link to the site:
I also see they now sell Tabasco in Gallon jugs....wow.
