OK, I know it's been discussed, but I just got back from lunch there. I had to get my watch fixed and my wife had to get a ring fixed, so we were on 47th st and were headed to Kosher Deluxe afterwards. However, I remembered reading about Taam Tov, so we figured we'd check it out.
Well, it didn't disappoint. Every single dish was excellent. The service was fast and friendly. The prices were low. I had lamb and chicken kebabs. We shared Israeli salad, Bukharan bread and french fries, and my wife had shawarma. EVERYTHING was top notch, fresh, hot and delicious. Yes, it's a hole in the wall, and yes, it's not easy to find, but it's definitely worth putting up with that. Oh yeah, the whole bill was $21 and we were out in about 40 minutes.
