szechuan peppers found

Yimster | Dec 2, 200210:23 PM

Yesterday while shopping at Manila Market on King Street in Daly City my wife pick out a package of szechuan peppers. It was one or two oz size for about 1.00. The Chinese name for this is flower pepper. It was still for sale. I think the large chain markets have obey the Government orders, while the smaller or one of a kind markets may still have them still for sell. They may have not seen the order.

While in Oakland I asked a four places for szechuan peppers and none had them. The clerks look at me kind of funny like I may have been a plant of the FDA. I sure if I was in San Francisco at herb stores I am known at I may have been able to buy some if it was available. So if you are still looking for this pepper Manila Market in Daly City.

Check out their fresh fish department they have crabs for 2.99 lb, whole salmon for .99 lb and whole Benito tuna .99 lb. As I have posted before a very good cheap place for seafood.
