aahhh, this place was so bad . . I dunno . . I kept hearing about this place, and wanted it, and actually, everything is good but their gyros are so damn offputting, I can't imagine going there again . . . I had such high hopes going in; really unique decor, 'lil garden thing and numerous chow mentions, I had the spaghetti w/ feta, dope, the tarama was really cream cheesey, not that good, but my friends ordered gyro platter, and chicken gyro, and they got those diner pre-made strips? really gross, dude, seriously . . I couldn't get past that . . the chicken strips were super thin and looked like bacon, the gyro ones are like big jimmy dean sausages sliced up . . I mean, I like jimmy dean sausages, but at a place that purports itself to any measure of authenticity? it's crazy . . no matter how good the other food is, and this is not just a matter of picking the wrong dish . . . but for it to even exist in the kitchen? huge negative impression . . . . just gotta go straight to astoria, bleccchhh . . .
