Now that Rindelaub's is closed, I'm trying out the Swiss Pastry Shop. I heard it is owned by the family that owned Moishes Addison Bakery. We found the cupcake icing delicious, but there wasn't enough of it on the cupcakes. The vanilla cake part was definitely more moist than the chocolate. The gingerbread cookies were nice and soft, but didn't have that spicy zing I like. I've also had the chocolate babka before, which had an amazing thick fudgy icing, though the cake part was dry. They have a huge selection of cookies and some small fancy desserts too.
