Yesterday we were to San Francisco to meet with freinds and family to share in the goodies we picked up in Vancouver.
On our return we made a side trip to try something that a friend told me about just the other day.
We have discussed stuffed boneless sweet rice chicken at some of the high end Chinese places ( like Great Eastern, Louie and R&G) where cost about $45.00. Which is a petty costly.
Well Ming's Diner is a small place located out in the Parkside district in the avenues. They sell a boneless Cornish Rock Hen stuffed with sweet rice for 6.50. The rice had both shitake mushroom and lop chong and came with a shitake mushroom gravy. They left most the meat in the chicken. At about 7 bucks out the door it is a lot more affordable and move this dish to a everyday dish.
I pick up the menu and saw more 10 set dinner starting at $36 people to about $200 for 10 people the dishes look really good. The best part these menu are in English. They do have a Chinese only menu which we will look at later.
