Sweet potato and food processor?

Conundrums | Mar 16, 201704:18 PM     12

I have arthritis and am thinking of buying a food processor, especially Cuisinart. Would a good food processor be able to cut sweet potatoes into rough cubes?

I would like to give it an entire peeled sweet potato. (I would halve it first, if necessary, but I would rather buy one that can handle a whole one if possible).

I believe the ones with an extra large chute could cut it into "discs"? I would prefer cubes or wedges instead of discs, but that would be ok if that's my only option. (A mandoline seems too difficult for me.)
