Up the street from Bookman in Orange (why aren't there any used bookstores that good in LA?). Walked in, saw that they had pina agua fresca, already halfway to stoked. Ordered carnitas sope and barbacoa taco. Meat was good, but fresh sope and tortilla were terrific, very dense, redolent of corn. Nothing's worse than that "Yeah, I've done hard time in a bag" aftertaste.
It's not a restaurant, just a counter in a market, so no tables. They also do a brisk business in masa preparada y pan dulce.
