The founders got their inspiration from street vendors in Thailand. They would prepare ice cream on a very cold surface then roll it up and put it in a cup or cone right before your eyes. Multiple flavors and combos possible. Well, the Philly-based chain has modernized the process and will be opening a Sweet Charlie's right on Mamaroneck Ave., Mamaroneck.
