Sweet Charlie's rolled ice cream coming to Mamaroneck...

gutreactions | Nov 19, 201709:50 AM     5

The founders got their inspiration from street vendors in Thailand. They would prepare ice cream on a very cold surface then roll it up and put it in a cup or cone right before your eyes. Multiple flavors and combos possible. Well, the Philly-based chain has modernized the process and will be opening a Sweet Charlie's right on Mamaroneck Ave., Mamaroneck. There are paper signs in the window at this writing. www.sweetcharlies.com
The company got a nice plug earlier on the 'eat, drink & be merry' episode of the CBS Sunday Morning Show...anyone tried them anywhere?
