Sweet Basil

I want to preface my comments by saying I have always loved this place and have been eating here for several years. This past weekend, myself and several friends took out a variety of food: salads, fried calamari, mussels, bread with pesto, penne with chicken and rosemary, shrimp scampi with linguini, pappardelle with bolegnese and vegetarian lasagna. I really enjoy fried calamari but it's getting to the point where it almost tastes the same everywhere; however, that being said, I thought Sweet Basil's version was delicious. Their entrees were as usual excellent but I found, way too heavy and way too oily/greasy, almost sickingly so. The next day, upon reheating, there was so much fat/grease/butter rendered that it was very unappetizing. Again, very good and tasty food, but they really should use less fat/butter and I usually have no problem with the use or consumption of butter and/or olive oil.
