Sweet Arepas on 168th

If you find yourself near New York Presbyterian on 168th between Broadway and Ft. Washington and need something to go with your coffee, check out the cart that sells the usual sprinkled-donut sugar fest but also advertises "corn pudding." I hadn't expected a Dominican-style arepa (sweet, with raisins--hope I got the Dominican part right)--it cost a buck, and was delicious. The guy told us his grandmother makes them--they are similar to the ones sold at El Malecon but seem somewhat more wonderful because (1)they might -be- more wonderful, and (2)because they're so different from the usual fare.

If anyone has any reports on the cart selling Dominican food during lunchtime at St. Nicholas and 168th please send 'em on!
