Swedish sausage in Philly?

kmarie | Dec 21, 2005 09:28 AM

For the first time in years, we'll be celebrating Christmas at home instead of with relatives in other areas of the country.

I'll do a simplified version of our traditional white supper menu--rice pudding, lingonberry sauce, cardamom bread...NO lutfisk! Maybe I'll make the veal loaf though we'll eat only a few slices. Thought I'd follow my daughter's lead in LA last year and find potatiskorv (potato sausage) at Ikea but I was not sucessful when I tried the Philly store yesterday. And I've had no luck getting through to the Conshohocken store on the phone...

Does anyone know a place in Philadelphia or South Jersey that sells potatiskorv?

If not, I'll be looking for some sausage casings! I'd appreciate some direction on finding those, too. Thanks!
