The recipe from "Sunday Suppers at Lucques" has to be the best brisket I've ever tasted. Maybe its the Samuel Smith Oatmeal Stout (which tastes amazing) I tracked down? As we dont eat brisket often as its not the healthiest food out there, my family is now a little scared about me trying new recipes for brisket. Has anyone tried the A.O.C. variation? It has the same seasonings and only differs in that its made with red wine as opposed to dark beer. Anyone have a preference for one over the other?
