Sushi at Umi of Japan - Waltham, MA

Amandarama | Dec 5, 202104:12 PM     2

It's been a while since anyone's posted about an eating out experience here on the Boston board, so I am sharing a couple picture of the omakase we had at Umi of Japan in Waltham. Frankie was our chef for the evening. We had a variety of wonderful items, including live scallop, toro, and salmon belly. Two standouts that I got pictures of, however - mirugai with caviar, gold leaf, and a touch of truffle oil, and Wagyu beef with truffle slices and caviar. Both absolutely out of this world and I am not particularly a truffle person. Looking forward to getting Umi back into our regular rotation when we go out!
