Toro and white tuna for lunch today both tasted faintly of lemon (juice). What's the scoop? I didn't notice it on the salmon, but I ate that last, maybe I was accustomed to it by them.
Also, the bill as originally presented was $18, after the server ran my cc through, it came back as $22 w/ no explanation. Odd? (BTW, that's an expensive lunch here in podunk...I drank water) There was no tip jar at the sushi bar, I wrote "cash" on the ticket and left $4 at my plate. What should I have done? How much to tip server vs. sushi chef? How do you give the chef his tip? Seems wrong to just hurl it over the top of the sushi bar :-)
