As more and more non traditional asian rest. get into the Sushi biz, it seems as though the average piece of sushi has gotten much larger.
In speaking with a sushi chef recently he stated that the american perference is toward larger pieces so that is what they are delievering.
Now the question: I love big food and have a big mouth, but I'm finding it almost impossible to stuff the entire piece in. I notice that most folks are required to bite them in half causing most of the rice to fall apart. If you can get it into your mouth, you can bearly chew and wind up swallowing huge portions.
Who enjoys eating this way?
