As much as I've tried, I've never been a fan of sushi/maki rolls because of the nori (seaweed). The other night I was at Duozo in Back Bay and they suggested having the maki rolls with soy paper instead of the nori. It was great! I got all of the great flavors of the sushi components without having to deal with the nori.
Now I'm curious as to whether this is standard in most sushi places? Anyone know?
