The Sushi Ike Diaspora

Allybg | Dec 8, 201010:45 AM

My husband and I were loyal Sushi Ike customers for many many years. We are still not over the fact that Ike sold his beloved restaurant. We visited once since the change, but it is simply not the same in any respect and we will not be visiting again. The one time we were in there, it was eerily EMPTY which leads me to believe that all of the Ike follwers are no longer going there. We saw so many familiar faces over the years while dining at the Ike sushi bar, other Ike devotees, who we assume, like us, are beside themselves over this change. I am curious to know where all of you other Ike groupies are going for sushi now. My husband and I are hardcore sushi eaters. We appreciate fresh, superb quality sushi that is served traditionally. Tempura cruncy rolls topped with eel sauce and things of those sort don't do it for us. With a sushi bar on every corner in Los Angeles, it's hard to cut through the clutter to find a good place. Would love to know where the Ike Diaspora is headed.....
