Our one Restaurant Week experience was Susanna Foo.
The room is beautiful and the service was topnotch.
All of the food was very good, but we didn't think anything was exceptional.
My husband enjoyed their "special" hot and sour soup, but he still puts Lee How Fook's at the top of his list.
The people who had the carmelized shrimp - beautifully presented - liked it, but said it was about the same as that served at Ly Michael.
My chicken dish was very tasty, tender chicken, lovely vegetables and seasonings, but again, nothing one hasn't had at other good places.
I enjoyed a delicate banana mousse/chocolate cake for dessert; the others had homemade ice cream.
Pleasant evening, certainly good for the price, but there wasn't one dish that made me want to return for it. Of course, the menu was limited.
We enjoyed the experience, and next time we will try someplace different.
By the way, hugh raves about Davio's for Restaurant Week - delicious food, large portions. We'll put it on the list.
