The following will sound ludicrous. If you need some assurance that I do not have a wooden palate - although I admit a fondness for Hostess Orange cupcaks - the thread on the best blueberry pancakes in the world at the Mariner Restaurant in Camden, was started by me.
D'Angelo's chain of submarine sandwich shops have great lobster sandwiches. Honest! They are available only during the summer season so hurry and try one.
Two factors make the sandwich incredible:
1. Only lobster meat and mayonnaise. You can get it dressed with any of the typicalo submarfine fixings, but the lobsyter itself is pure lobster - no celery filler.
2. They use CHUNKS of lobster - not the shreds found so many other places. You can identify the part of the lobster each chink came from -- knuckles, either whole or in halves, claw meat and tail chunks. The ocncoction is smoothed out with smallwer pieces -- probably from the body.
AMAZING. Not super cheap but super good.
