What's Your Last Supper?

This is a question I've pondered for years, but tonight whilst eating the sticky toffee pudding at the Abbot uptown, I knew it was time to make it official. What would I eat as my last supper? To add drama we could pretend the question is being posed from death row (or not).

For as long as I can remember, for me it's been a veal chop - I'd say veal marsala (but in a thick chop version), a delicate vs. rustic fettuccine alfredo (the legit kind), some beautiful fresh carrots topped with butter and fresh parsley, followed by the Abbot's sticky toffee pudding, with half vanilla ice cream (homemade of course) and half whipped cream. I didn't think about wine, but something that tasted like Spring, and hopefully a few sleeping pills mixed in - if it was actually death row. I know that would be over the top - the whipped cream AND ice cream, and that I'd regret it but not as much as I'd regret whatever landed me on death row.

By the way, the bartender at the Abbot said he'd have a HUGE lobster soaked in butter... I forget the sides, but I do remember that he said he'd have baked Alaska for dessert. Wow, baked Alaska! I haven't had that since my bf's eighth grade birthday party, but it was so nostalgic that I had to love his choice. Another patron was clearly feeling grumpy because he wasn't playing.

So there you have it for now. Not sure if this question has been posed before, but what's your last supper???
