went to supermarket... what was I thinking!?!

kseiverd | Feb 1, 201512:08 PM     18

No super bowl festivities going on here. Might check in for a few of the famous commercials, but that's about it. Gray, dreary and cold enough to be good soup weather. Had all ingredients to make either split pea of navy bean EXCEPT some kinda smoked meat, so out for a quick trip to supermarket. It was a MAD HOUSE! First, store and recently finished major expansion/renovation. A lot of everyday items are no longer located anywhere NEAR where they were before make-over, so even regulars are hunting for things. The parking lot was JAMMED. Check-out was fairly uneventful. Since I was already "out" decided to fill near empty gas tank... think there are 5-6 flakes in tonight's forecast. It's ILLEGAL to pump your own in NJ (where regular was $1.719 today), 5-6 pumps were not available, and there were beginnings of actual lines.
